Jem was a black 5 month old puppy who ' went missing' with his buddy, a Goldie..on the 2nd November 2006.....
Goldie was reunited within 24 hrs but Jem dissapeared...totally.....off the face of the earth and despite all efforts nothing was heard at all.... no sightings, no ransom nothing. We still did our usual routine so everything was in place and gave the owners constant support.
Then...out the blue...nearly six weeks later, when hope was begining to fade, we were contacted by the PDSA in Glasgow who had just had a dog brought into them with a cough...
They scanned him, as they do routinely it seems, and the truth emerged.......the PDSA wouldn't release Jem back to the ' people ' who had brought him in, but held onto him and the rightful owners were contacted..
Jem was finally reunited.....
I have to say without that identification he would of been lost forever
