Found - Labrador Bitch in Clumber Park. Notts - Now rehomed

A lovely black labrador bitch was found running loose and distressed in Clumber Park, Nottinghamshire on Tuesday 21st August 2007.

The kind people who found her have looked after her fantastically and notified the local authorities - however no-one has come forward and she is now in foster care with Labrador Rescue East Midlands.

Estimated to be between 4 and 6 years she is a beautiful lady and much distressed. There are potential homes waiting but she will remain in foster care for 28 days from 21st August before rehoming.

Bless her, how lucky is she to have been picked up by such lovely caring people. If she is not reunited with her family good luck for the future sweet heart it will be full of love & happy times X

We have temporarily named her Katy and she has settled in well considering what she has been through. Is desperate not to be left alone though which absolutely melts your heart. What a lovely dog she is - such a sweetie!

She is currently asleep on my settee having just shared part of my lunch.

My ten year old has decided she's the girl for him too and has a new spring in his step.

So sad for this poor girl but she sounds like she is being well looked after by you Gayle and your boy.(sounds like love ) Hopefully her owners will be found soon.

How lovely that there are homes waiting for her if the owners are not found ..... good luck for the future little girl. xxxxx

Now named Katy this lost girl has been happily rehomed by the rescue.

(Unfortunately Katy has terminal cancer which is possibly why she has never been claimed by her original owner)
