Update
Sadly Lenny is on the run again. The finder had done some searching and
managed to get the owners name and address through kennels who
already knew this dog, he has been on the run a few times and was
known to the kennels, unfortunately Lenny escaped from the finders
garage and she was unable to catch him.
So please keep your eye out for Lenny in the Worksop area.

Update on Lenny
He was sighted around B & Q and Mc Donnalds in the Rodisea area of Worksop.
Measures are being taken to try and keep him in the area so can any local people keep an eye out for this escapologist.
He originally escaped by clearing an 8ft fence !

Lenny is still missing
Today his owner is being filmed by a news team to highlight Lenny's plight and get the word out to a wider audience.
Good luck Dave

UPDATE
Lenny was spotted at the Cannon pub trying to get in the bins. A couple approached, Lenny was scared of the man and backed of but rushed to the woman and stayed around her for 2 hours, very excited and acting like he wanted to be taken home.
His is worryingly thin, weak, tried to wee and poo but nothing came out and he was whinning in pain while trying. He is dehyrated and his eyes are bloodshot.
The lady wanted to take him back home and care for him till she could find his owner but was told " nah, look at him, he's flea ridden and a stray anyway, been wondering around here for ages, we just ignore him "
He then ran of towards the Kilton Golf course.
We have arranged for the pup to leave all left overs out tonight incase he returns and also left contacts mumbers.
The golf course backs onto his favourite field he was taken too for walks. From the pup to the golf course is half a mile, and he has stayed local since going missing 6 weeks ago.
So he is, in this great big country, in a half mile area, scared and dangerously undernourished and struggling........you have no idea how frustrating this is and heartbreaking for his owner.
Does anyone live anywhere close and prepared to travel to help? Time is running short for Lenny !
His pic is in LL but he looks identical to Tilly except he is male.
The word is now out in as many places as possible to try and gather as many people together to help search for Lenny.
He is very , very poorly and the local radio stations are now on it too trying to get any dog lovers or anybody in the area to help search.
Is anyone at all anywhere near this area???

Just to keep you informed......
Requests for help are now being sent out on the radio hourly.
Dave is on his way back to the pub where helpers are being sent to leave leaflets, information and contact number before returning back to the search himself.

UPDATE
2 further sightings have been now reported. One from a man who says a distressed dog-yellow lab was picked up yesterday at the newsagent near the Canon pub and taken to Carlton Forest kennels - kennels have been rung and they say 7 dogs were taken in yesterday but could not confirm which breeds! Well worth a visit. The second sighting said there are 2 stray dogs in the gateford area.
The two dogs seen running together, yesterday and regularly,in Gateford area, one is brown and white, the other sandy colour with brown patch, mud?? May or may not be Lenny. If anyone is going to search can they collect Jayne about 12.30 as she is going to help to...thank you jayne,

There will now be 6 people on the ground searching for poor lenny. He has been sighted again at the pub area and on inspection there is a very overgrown area behind.
Labshack and lablover4eva are travelling up with a crate to set a trap, they think they have found his hidey hole in thick brush in the middle of which is a flattened sleeping area, not deer area, .......so if they can't locate him before will hopefully lay a trap in this spot, open cage, pilchards at back, rope attatched to door and silent waiting...
Just pray he hasn't given up and gone...anywhere
Fingers crossed everyone....we don't have time on our side
