A lovely black bitch has gone missing in Telford...post from owner....

'Lucy disappeared whist on a walk on our farm on Tuesday 3rd October 2006 at 8.15 am. She ventured onto the lane and was gone within minutes. No sounds af a collision were heard or any cars behaving suspiciously. We hope that she crossed the road having been caught by a car, being distressed and ran until she was lost, rather than being stolen. She is a very good looking Lab with a gloss coat and a good frame,she doesnt carry much extra weight. We live in Telford between Shawbirch and Leegomery.'

I have just come of the phone to owner. The family live approx a mile outside Telford and there is concern Lucy has run towards the busy road close by. She may back away / run off if approached so any spotter please just watch from a distance and call the owner on 07815 761065 or 0870 3834507.

Sadly there is still no news about Lucy. I spoke with the distraught owner earlier and thesearch is now broadening, he is also re postering stating a substantial reward is now offered.

Local radio has been putting out alerts and further measures are now in place.

Lucy will now be more than cautious and it is very doubtful she will be a compliant partner to capture so anyone who sees her, please DO NOT approach her. Keep a distance, sit down and call the owner. He is the only person likely to draw her in.
