I have spent some time over last couple of days enhancing the site and automating it a little more to make it smoother as we get more lab helpers onboard.
I have made it so that when people sign up to the Lab Alerts list they now enter their County, this is then cross matched with any entries in the Lost and found database and they are emailed missing labs in their County automatically
I have tweaked the lost labs block on front page below the forums to show how many lost and how many found labs there are in the database
I have changed the 5 nav bar buttons at top of page to link to lost and found and gallery etc
Hope this improves our chances of more members and in turn makes it easier to find them.
More enhancements to follows are:-
When someone enters a new dog into the lost and found database, then all members on the Lab Alerts list who match that County will be emailed with the new details so they can assist if possible.
