Hi Rhoni

She has been claimed although I am not a happy bunney Rolling Eyes Evil or Very Mad

The owner said I had caused him so many problems trying to find her and I should have left her to find her own way home Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

I said I had informed everybody including police , dog warden both shops in the village.

He said that I was irresponsible for picking a dog up in a village. Err she had no collar and was not chipped. Rolling Eyes

I said he was lucky I had caught her as she could have been run over. I also said I could have taken her to the kennels and he would have had to pay £60 to ger her released so would he give me a donation to lab rescue to cover my costs as had travelled half way across Oxfordshire and had taken her to my vets to be checked out. He refused Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

He said I had caused him inconvenience Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

Why do we bother Rolling Eyes

Hi Lucy.....

Gawd...how unfair, mean, ungrateful and irresponsible of the owner......makes you wonder the quality of life for the pup........and as for being iresponsible..phew that's rich...a loose running nonchipped / non tatooed / no tag ( illegal ! ) ? That is responsible??

Anyway thanks for doing all you did and at least you have a rough location of her so can keep an eye out incase she runs again.... Wink

Why do we bother ? Because whatever the owners are like our priorities are always for the pup, someone has to love and care for them.....that's why you do what you do......thank god ! TY

Rhoni

Yes a good eye will be kept on her ( I have my contacts Wink )

Yes sorry to vent my anger and I shouldn't be surprised really but it will never stop me making sure any Lab or any animal never comes to any harm Cool
