Today an owner of a missing dog was emailed by lostlabs ltd saying their dog had been found and to call with personal details, name, address, tattoo numbers etc and their dog would be returned to them.
THIS IS A SCAM - they are using their own ' lostlabs ltd ' addy and email addresses, it appears they are working through all sites, breed specific and otherwise, and emailing these poor owners.
This has nothing to do with us whatsoever. We are lostlabs.com and not Ltd and would certainly not be sending an email such as this.
Guessing at best the number you have to call is a premium line number...at worst.....well dunno but don't see why they need dogs name and security details etc...
Please spread the word to any sites you are involved with to warn the membership and prevent any distress / cost to upset lost owners.

Ransom's are being asked for and exchanges set up to get missing pets returned which in turn lures you away from your home ! Now we see the the plot.....
