Dill fox red in colour not yellow or cream, his under coat is almost white. he is a very large muscular dog ( not fat ) with a distinctive mane around his neck and shoulders, dill is a working dog trained on the whistle, he his 5years old, we dont know much of dills previous life ... only that he is damaged phycologically, dill is a very nervous dog very frightened of strangers ( particulary men for some reason) he must have spent a lot of time in a kennel because he has distinctive kennel rub on all four legs , when approached he displays typical submissivenes...tail tucked under rear , rear end down ready for flight, no eye contact, yawning, licking of lips , physical shaking etc. apart from all this dill is a lovely gentle with no aggression what ever , with us he begining to gain his confidence back , but sadly was frightened and spooked by something and took flight sadly we could not call him back ..as you can imagine we are devestated, we have done all that is possible to trace him, we can only hope someone will come forward with some information. dill is microchipped so hopefully we may hear something eventually. we can only hope that with the help of sites like this we will eventually bring dill back home.
I have spoken to Dill's owner tonight and have more information regarding Dill.
Dill went missing on the 20th June 2005. There has been sightings of Dill 1 1/2miles from home unfortunatly he his a very nervous dog due to being mistreated by previous owners he is also gun shy and very timid of noises such as traffic ect.
Debbie his owner is trying to keep Dill's profile high as they live on county borders and if anyone has any sightings of Dill please contact his owner or Lost labs.
Please do not try to approach Dill has he his very timid and you may scare him onto a road.

Hi Julie
We have been in contact with Dill's owner tonight by e-mail and we are
trying to get as much help as possible to look for Dill.
He is a very scared dog he run straight past his owner the last time he
was sighted, it's a case of when he is seen contact the owner and don't try
to approach him yourself.

This is a copy of the e-mail from Debbie, Dills owner.
Well who ever said that miracles never happen have been proved wrong
!!!!!! after 18 months ive finally got my boy DILL back home. Dill went
missing on 20 JUNE 2005 , after relentless searching for months and
months i thorght i would never see him again, but in my heart i always
knew i would get him back, the phone call id been waiting for finally came
at approx 3.15 3rd Jan 2007 , a lady had found Dill hiding under some
tarpauling which was covering some machinery on her land , she managed
to coax him out and take him into her home, she thankfully took him to
her local vet who scanned him and got in touch with petlog uk, within
2hours he was back home with us . although he has lost weight and
condition he seems amazingly well ( although in need of a good bath)
considering his ordeal. i just want to stress the importance of having your
dogs microchipped as sometimes this is the last hope we have of getting
our dogs back , but this only possible if people who find our dogs take
them to a vets to be scanned.I want to take this oppotunity to thank all at
lostlabs for your help and support and to give people out there who have
still not found their dogs, that all is not lost , if i can get my boy back after
18 months then there is hope for the ones still out there .
Many thanks to all at lostlabs , and lets hope 2007 brings good news for
