Hi
As we are all trying to protect our dogs as much as possible,
microchipping is something you may have considered if your dog has
not been already chipped. I have found that some local councils offer this
service free or at a reduced rate. It would be worth giving your local
council a call to see if they offer this in your area.
I also found this in DOG TRUST
"Dogs Trust currently provides a reduced price microchipping service at £9.50. For pensioners and for those who are claiming any means tested benefits it is completely free. If you live within one of our campaign regions you can find out about any chipping initiatives set up by your local council. Contact your local campaign team to find out more."

Kipp's former owner had him microchipped before he or she dumped him off. I was thankful he had this, i feel he's safer this way.
I was told i could locate kipp anywhere with his chip is this so?
Thanks in advance

Hi
A dog that is microchipped is easier to intentify but only if the finder takes
the dog to a vet, dog warden ect, and they scan the dog to find the chip.
If Kipp had a tattoo the finder would be able to see this themself and could
call the National Tattoo Register with the tattoo number and they would in turn
