Just spoken to the owner and she has had no further news as yet.
She has just finished printing off posters and is sending a picture shortly so it can be posted on all sites.
Fingers crossed

UPDATE
I have just spoken to Kimi's mum. There is no further news on Kimi as yet other than the police now believe she was spotted near Murton (think that's the spelling) at 6am this morning, not where previously thought!
The searches are now being defined at this point on both sides of the A64.
The landrover has also been recovered too.........in Derby.
Hopefully there will be another update, and more possitive in the morning.
Fingers crossed and thanks to those helping in the search.

Crossposted from dogslost
Another thought - Murton Livestock Centre operates an overnight Lorry Park and Cafe (as well as many other events) - it's a busy place. I'm sure the owners have already postered inside the livestock centre but perhaps a few near there would help. 5 or 6 am is a typical drive start for a lorry - the cafe ladies might know the regulars or somone might have mentioned seeing a dog. Also visit Thomson's animal feeds (over road from Livestock Ctr)- their lorries in and out cover a wide area they also have alot of customers (farmers, horse people, they sell dog food) - I'm sure they would display a poster. There is also an educational farm and mock viking settlement next to the Livestock Centre. Would be a nice place for a dog to hang out near.

Sighting @ 12.15 today help needed NOW
Kimi is in a 30 acre potoato field horribly close A64 York bypass / ring road. Near the roundabout she was spotted on yesturday.
Farmer spotted her at 12.15 today as spraying pots.
She is laying low in a 3ft hedge
Was seen in copse in field but took off when farmer tried to approach across the potato field towards the hedge border of that field ( approx 1/4 mile from huge main roundabbout.
The other side of the hedge is a small valley full of thick brush and that is where the owners are currently searching
ALL SEARCHES PLEASE START FROM ROAD IN WHERE POSS SO WHEN / IF SHE TAKES OFF SHE RUNS TOWARDS THE OWNERS NOT TO THE ROAD
Has only moved 1/4 mile since 6am yesturday and is currently trting to hide within the potato crops ( they are 3ft high so she won't be easily visable )
30 acres is a big field BUT SHE IS DEF IN THERE
PLEASE DO NOT APPROACH HER else she may run onto road, stay at distance and call owners 07984742262

Kimi has been found
I posted 2 mins after she was found so we don't know her condition at the moment, bearing in mind she has recently been spayed and still had her stitches in
Kimi was huddled, scared but hopefully not injured, well into the bushes.
Her mum, who was maning the phone at home, is eagally waiting to be renuited. I am calling them later this evening to see how she is....I will let you all know.
Her mum has been completly moved by the concern from total strangers ( LF, LL and others ) who have been sending their wishes and has asked me to thank everyone.
I personally want to give Micheala a HUGE THANK YOU for all her efforts and help...................with people like you Micheala we prove it can happen no matter how difficult it may seem...Thank you

Thanks for the praise Rhoni but as I said on LF you guys are the best organising it all and keeping those lines of communication open. I have now registered myself with the lab alert like you said!
I texted Kimi's owners just to see if they needed anything doing or any help with anything.
She sends her thanks to everyone involved and says Kimi is a very happy dog once again so that's good news.
Just thought I'd let you all know she is doing fine now.

Update
Hi everyone,
Have just spoken to Kimi's owners.
She is ok.....very very tired but has eaten and drunk loads. Initially there are no medical probs so are letting her settle back home before seeing the vet in the morning.
The rescue was quite scarey...having searched the boundry's off the field searchers returned to their cars and her dad looked back, saw her head pop out of a bush but she ran, in the wrong direction, so they stopped at safe distance and spent a long time gently calling her name.
All of a sudden she ' connected ' ( trauma left her, temporarily ) and she raced to the daughter and threw herself at her.
The landrover has been pulled on the M1 near Mansfield and the driver arrested !!!!
This feels so good - this is how it is ment to be - all agencies working together and the dog lovers coming together to search to find a lost pup that could potentially be their's.
RESULT !!!!

Just wanted to post this....message just in from owner......
"Many thanks for al your help. Your searchers were wonderful.
Kimi was reported this dinner time by a farmer in the area where she had
been seen on Wednesday morning, and ran back to her owners at about 4pm. She has now eaten a large meal (several meals, actually) and seems none the worse for her two nights away.
Thank you again. "
Nuff said !!!!

Another update
Just a quick update North Yorkshire council has awarded the culprits responsible for Kimi's ordeal with an Anti-Social Behaviour Order yesterday not sure if this will suffice for their next victims of crime but at least something was done about it this time.

Hi,
I am so pleased Kimi is safe and sound back home with her owners, what a thing to have happened to her.
Well done to everyone who helped out in her search, and rescue.
I'm glad they have found out who did this... at least something was done yes.
All the best to Kimi and her family, huge hugs all round.
